About Me

The (nearly) Full Story

I am a former international rower from the French national team and now have been a personal trainer for 8 years. I lived and worked as a PT in Milan for 4 years before moving to Norway. Now I have built my own network, life and community here in Oslo and feel I am here to stay. I have been working at SATS as a level 4 PT for 2 years and have felt the urge of moving on from coaching one on one sessions to developping what brings me the most joy : classes, event, and retreats!

I have built my own method of teaching strength to begginers, which includes building body awareness, so that on the long run, you understand your body better and can become your own coach. If you haven't had the chance to experience this, no worries, my online platform is coming out soon.

I did ballet for about 10 years before becoming a professional rower and it was only when I ended that career that I came back to my first love : DANCE. I discovered Pilates Fusion when I was training as a PT in Paris and fell in love with this hybrid method that resembles me so much. Why choose between intensity, functional training, pilates, yoga and ballet when you can have it all. It is a class I absolutely love to teach and you can find my schedule here if you want to try out.

    As a person I'm energetic and determined, I work on my communication skills, and go to therapy to understand myself and my patterns. I love my friendships as much as my romantic relationship, and I value quality time and connection. The things I love the most in my job is creating safe spaces for my clients and students to connect with others, helping them venture outside of their comfort zone, and finally proving to them that they can actually do whatever they put their mind to.

    I push myself way out of my own comfort zone by taking Dancehall and Heels dance classes (!), by talking to strangers, and organizing solo trips and adventures. Another thing about me is that I'm an empath and super sensitive, to the point where I'll cry if I see someone crying, or if I'm tired or happy. So I've gotten good at explaining to people that they can just get on with the conversation and let me cry in peace ^^ I've noticed that it doesn't happen quite the same at work since I need to hold the safe space for others, but if we start chatting about personal stuff, you'll probably get to see that side of me.

 

As a coach I deeply believe that everyone can feel AMAZING in their body : it's about finding what lights your spark and gets you moving. It's also about building confidence, working on your limiting beliefs and getting to know yourself better. I've come to believe that creating habits that align with who we want to be is more important than "just" loving our bodies. Loving my body will come and go through out my life, and it's one of the least interesting things about me. But being proud of what I am capable of and the things I accomplish, THAT brings a much deeper feeling of self love and happiness.

Training and having a healthy body comes in lots of shapes, sizes, programs and sports : you just need to find the one that fits you. On my online platform you will have access to loads of different content from rowing high intensity workout to pilates and even meditation. I don't like being put in a box, so I help you get our of yours too. No need to choose, you have a whole lifetime to do it all!
